Job Location

MECL Corporate Office at Nagpur and Project Sites/Offices located anywhere in India. Selected candidates may also be posted overseas as per company requirements.

Qualification

• Qualifications must be from recognized Universities/Institutes as specified in the advertisement.
• For all essential/requisite qualifications, minimum qualifying marks are 45% for direct recruitment to Non-Executive positions.
• For Intermediate pass CA/ICWA and certifications, pass is sufficient where no minimum marks are stipulated.
• Higher qualification without the prescribed essential qualification will not be considered.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 30 Years for UR/EWS candidates for all posts. Age will be reckoned as on 01.09.2026.

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: 05 years.
• OBC-NCL: 03 years.
• PwD General: Up to 10 years.
• PwD SC/ST: Up to 15 years.
• PwD OBC-NCL: Up to 13 years.
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines.
• Retrenched ex-contingent workmen of MECL: Up to 20 years.

Category Relaxation

Reservation, upper-age relaxation and other concessions for SC, ST, OBC-NCL, EWS, PwBD and Ex-Servicemen will be provided as per Government of India guidelines.

Application Fees

General / OBC / EWS: Rs. 500/-

Fee Exempted: SC / ST / PwD / Ex-Servicemen / Departmental Candidates.

Selection Process

1. Screening of online applications for eligibility.
2. Written Competitive Examination – 100% weightage.
3. Document Verification.
4. Skill Test / Trade Test, wherever applicable.
5. Skill/Trade Test is qualifying in nature.
6. Final merit list will be prepared based on Written Test marks after eliminating candidates found unsuitable in Skill/Trade Test.

Written Test Cut-off:
UR/OBC-NCL/EWS – 50%
SC/ST – 45%
PwD – Relaxed standard as per Government guidelines.

Written Test, Document Verification and Skill/Trade Tests will be conducted at Nagpur City.
