Post-wise educational qualification, professional certification and experience requirements are prescribed in Annexure-I of the Bank of India notification.
Candidates must possess the requisite qualification and experience specified for the particular post as on 01.08.2026. Candidates are required to produce supporting educational, professional-certification and experience documents during the recruitment process.
Reserved-category candidates applying against reserved vacancies are entitled to 5% relaxation wherever 60% minimum marks is prescribed; accordingly, the minimum becomes 55%.
Age will be calculated as on 01.08.2026.
The post-wise minimum and maximum age limits range from 21 years to 42 years, depending upon the post.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years
- Eligible Ex-Servicemen: 5 years
- Persons affected by 1984 riots: 5 years
Age relaxation is subject to the conditions and documentary requirements specified in the notification.
SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates applying against reserved vacancies are eligible for the prescribed reservation and applicable relaxations.
Wherever 60% minimum educational marks are stipulated, eligible reserved-category candidates applying against reserved vacancies receive a 5% relaxation, making the requirement 55%.
EWS candidates must satisfy the Government of India EWS eligibility conditions and produce the prescribed Income & Asset Certificate.
Bank transaction charges for online payment are to be borne by the candidate.

Online Examination:
- English Language – 25 Marks
- Professional Knowledge relevant to the post – 100 Marks
- Composite Time – 100 Minutes
English Language is qualifying in nature and its marks are not added to the merit list. There is a penalty of one-fourth of the marks assigned to a question for each wrong answer.
Where both Online Examination and Interview are conducted, the weightage is 60:40.
