Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice: B.Com, BBA / Graduation with Economics, Basic English and Computer Operation knowledge; Any Graduate for Secretarial Assistant and Recruitment Executive (HR).
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Instrumentation or Mechanical Engineering.
- Trade Apprentice: B.Sc with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for applicable chemical plant trades; 12th with Science under 10+2 system for Boiler Attendant, Electrician and Medical Laboratory Technician; 12th under 10+2 system for Horticulture Assistant.
- Minimum 50% marks are required in the prescribed qualifying qualification.

Selection Process
- Merit list will be prepared based on the percentage criteria and applicable reservation in the prescribed essential educational qualification.
- Candidates from the merit list will be called for Document Verification.
- Appointment as Apprentice Trainee will be subject to successful document verification and approval of the Apprenticeship Contract on NATS/NAPS.
- In case of equal marks, higher qualification and then higher marks in the preceding qualification will be considered for merit ranking.

How to Apply
- Visit the official RCF website.
- Click on Recruitment and then select Engagement of Apprentices - 2026-27.
- Read the complete advertisement, instructions, terms and conditions.
- Click I Accept and then click Apply Online.
- Select the posting area: Trombay or Thal.
- Upload passport-size colour photograph in JPG/JPEG format of not more than 75 KB and signature of not more than 25 KB.
- Complete the application and click SAVE/SUBMIT.
- After successful submission, the application form will be generated.
- Click Print and keep the application form for document verification.
Apprenticeship Portal Registration
- Trade Apprentices: Registration on NAPS / Apprenticeship India portal is required.
- Technician & Graduate Apprentices: Registration as a student on the NATS portal is required.
General Instructions
- The candidate must be at least 18 years of age and must satisfy the prescribed educational qualification.
- The qualifying examination must have been passed on or after 01.07.2023.
- Candidates who have completed Act Apprentice training or have one year or more job experience are not eligible.
- Candidates pursuing higher studies are not eligible.
- Distance Learning, Part-Time and Correspondence qualifications are not eligible.
- A candidate can apply for only ONE discipline/trade/area of training. Multiple applications will lead to rejection.
- Candidates must provide correct and complete information in the online application.
- Only the online application submitted through the RCF website will be considered.
- Candidates must possess PAN and Aadhaar cards at the time of reporting if selected.
- The stipend will be credited to the candidate's own Aadhaar-linked DBT-enabled bank account.
- Candidates must produce original certificates and attested copies during document verification/reporting as applicable.
