Job Details
State Bank of India (SBI) has invited online applications for
Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in the Clerical Cadre.

Qualification
Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University or any
equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government.
Candidates in the final year/semester may also apply provisionally,
subject to the prescribed conditions.
The candidate must also be proficient in reading, writing, speaking and understanding the specified local language of the State/UT opted for.

20 to 28 years as on 01.04.2026.
Candidate should have been born between 02.04.1998 and 01.04.2006 (both days inclusive).

Age Relaxation
- OBC – 3 years
- SC/ST – 5 years
- PwBD (Gen/EWS) – 10 years
- PwBD (OBC) – 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST) – 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen/Disabled Ex-Servicemen – As per prescribed service-based relaxation, subject to maximum age of 50 years.
- Widows/Divorced women/Judicially separated women – 7 years, subject to prescribed maximum age limits.
- Trained SBI Apprentices – Relaxation ranging from 1 to 16 years depending on category.
Category Relaxation
Reservation is applicable as per prevailing Government of India
guidelines. OBC reservation is available only to eligible
Non-Creamy Layer candidates. EWS candidates must produce a
valid Income & Asset Certificate. PwBD reservation is provided
horizontally as per the applicable provisions.

Selection Process
- Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
- Phase-II: Main Examination
- Phase-III: Local Language Proficiency Test (where applicable)
Preliminary marks will not be added to the final merit.
Final merit will be prepared based on Main Examination marks,
subject to qualifying the applicable local language test.
There is negative marking of 1/4th mark for each wrong answer
in the objective tests.

Pay Scale
₹24,050 – 64,480
Starting Basic Pay: ₹26,730/-

General Instructions
- Candidates can apply for vacancies in one State/UT only.
- A candidate can appear for the test only once under this recruitment project.
- The candidate should possess proficiency in the specified local language of the opted State/UT.
- Candidates who studied the specified local language in 10th or 12th standard are exempted from the local language test.
- Category/age relaxation certificates must be produced when required.
- Only one application should be submitted by a candidate.
- After final submission, changes/corrections in the application will not be entertained.
- Mobile phones, smart watches, calculators and other prohibited devices are not allowed in the examination premises.
- Candidates should retain their call letters and required identity documents safely.
- There is no provision for Inter-Circle/Inter-State Transfer before completion of 5 years of service, subject to the conditions specified by SBI.
