1. Introduction
Online applications are invited from Indian citizens for direct recruitment to fill vacancies of Constables in the District Cadre and Armed Cadre of Punjab Police.
The recruitment will be conducted through a Common Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by Physical Screening Test (PST) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
Final selection will be based on merit in the written examination and the candidate’s preference for cadre (District or Armed).
2. Posting / Deployment
Candidates selected for recruitment shall be liable to serve anywhere in the State of Punjab as per administrative requirements.

4. Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Applicant must be a citizen of India.
Educational Qualification
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
- Ex-Servicemen minimum qualification – Matriculation.
Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 28 Years
Age relaxation will be applicable as per Punjab Government rules.

7. Physical Screening Test (PST)
For Male Candidates
- 1600 meters race – 6 minutes 30 seconds
- Long Jump – 3.80 meters
- High Jump – 1.10 meters
For Female Candidates
- 800 meters race – 4 minutes
- Long Jump – 3 meters
- High Jump – 0.95 meters
