About Airports Authority of India

Airports Authority of India (AAI) is a Schedule ‘A’ Miniratna Category-1 Public Sector Enterprise established by an Act of Parliament in 1995 after the merger of National Airports Authority and International Airports Authority of India. AAI is responsible for creating, upgrading, maintaining and managing civil aviation infrastructure across India.

AAI Regional Headquarters (Northern Region) invites applications from eligible candidates for engagement of Graduate, Diploma and ITI Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the year 2025-26.

Educational Qualification

• Candidates should possess a full-time regular Engineering Degree (4 years) from AICTE recognized institute.
• Diploma candidates should possess a 3-year Engineering Diploma in relevant discipline from a recognized institute.
• ITI candidates must possess NCVT / ITI certificate in relevant trade such as:
  • Computer Operator Programming Assistant (COPA)
  • Stenography

Application Fee

• No Application Fee is required.
• The application process is completely free.

Training Period

• The apprenticeship training period will be 12 months.
• Training will be conducted at various AAI Airports / Establishments in Northern Region.
• The allocated location will be final and cannot be changed later.

Selection Process

• Shortlisting based on academic merit.
• Interview / Document Verification.
• Medical Fitness Certificate.

The final selection will be based on interview performance and verification of documents.

General Instructions

• Candidates must register on the NATS / NAPS apprenticeship portal.
• Candidates who have already completed apprenticeship training are not eligible.
• Candidates currently undergoing apprenticeship in any organization are not eligible.
• Applicants applying for more than one discipline will be rejected.
• All communications will be sent to the registered email ID.
• The candidature will remain provisional until document verification.
• AAI does not guarantee employment after completion of apprenticeship training.

2. Complete your profile and upload required documents.
3. Search for Airports Authority of India – Apprentice.
4. Apply for the relevant apprenticeship position.
