Qualification:
Qualifications vary according to the post. Teaching posts are governed
by applicable UGC/NCTE/AICTE norms. Non-teaching qualifications include
Degree, Post Graduation, Diploma, ITI, Intermediate, Matriculation and
relevant experience depending on the post.
Age Limit:
As per the applicable rules and eligibility conditions for the respective post.
The notification does not prescribe one common age limit for all posts.
Age Relaxation:
Relaxations and concessions for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS candidates will be
applicable as per Government of India, UGC, UP State and other applicable
rules.
Category Relaxation:
A 5% relaxation in the required Bachelor's/Master's level marks is provided
for SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/Differently-abled candidates wherever
applicable. Ph.D. holders who obtained their Master's degree before
19 September 1991 are eligible for the specified 5% relaxation.

- All Teaching Positions – UR: ₹148/-
- All Teaching Positions – Reserved: ₹74/-
- Non-Teaching Level 10–14 – UR: ₹148/-
- Other Non-Teaching Posts – UR: ₹71/-
- Other Non-Teaching Posts – Reserved: ₹36/-
Selection Process:
Screening Committee shortlisting followed by Seminar-cum-Presentation /
Aptitude Test / Trade Test / Interview, as applicable to the post.

- Keep original documents and self-attested copies ready for verification at the Seminar-cum-Presentation / Aptitude Test / Trade Test / Interview.
General Instructions
- Candidates must satisfy the prescribed eligibility conditions before applying.
- NET/SLET/SET shall remain the minimum eligibility for Assistant Professor and equivalent positions wherever applicable under UGC Regulations.
- Eligible Ph.D. candidates may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET subject to the conditions specified in the notification.
- Candidates should follow applicable UGC/NCTE/AICTE regulations.
- Reserved-category candidates must submit valid certificates issued by the competent authority.
- Other-state reserved-category candidates must submit the required Central Caste Certificate.
- Employed candidates should apply through proper channel or submit the required No Objection Certificate.
- Only male candidates can apply for non-teaching posts in DEI Technical College and teaching/non-teaching posts in DEI REI Intermediate College.
- Only female candidates can apply for teaching posts in DEI P.V. Girls' Intermediate College.
- Not all applicants will necessarily be called for the next stage of selection.
- No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the selection process.
- Any addendum or corrigendum will be published on the official DEI website.
- Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
